ASIST teaches participants to recognize and intervene with individuals at risk of sucidice. It is applicable to diverse audiences, requiring no formal background. It is a highly interactive workshop that teaches the skill to intervene when someone may be at risk for suicide to help them stay safe for now. It is often referred to as suicide first aid.
