Walk A Mile

Online registration has closed.

 You may register for the walk and purchase a t-shirt at Walk A Mile beginning at 9am at the On-The-Spot registration area at Eldridge Park. 
 
For Captains and Individuals who have already registered, you may pick up t-shirts on April 30 at Elmira Elks Club, 300 E. Gray St. Elmira at the following times:
7:30am – 9am
11:30am – 1pm
5pm – 6:30pm

Day of the walk overview
 If you register by 4pm on April 24th,  you may pick up T-shirts on Thursday, April 30th, at the Elks Club at 300 East Gray St., Elmira during the following hours: 7:30am – 9:00am, 12noon – 1:30pm, or 5:00pm – 6:30pm
 
 
Walkers may also choose to register at the On-the-spot registration table at Eldridge Park between 9am and 10:30am on May 2nd. T-shirts will be available on a first come first served basis.   If you collect or donate at least $15 you get a commemorative t-shirt while supplies last.  
 
The Eldridge Park Preservation Society has constructed a beautiful new stage behind the midway that we will be utilizing.   This year, several community resource organizations will be on hand. Please take time to explore all of the resources starting at 9am. The Walk will begin promptly at 11:00AM.  We have wonderful raffle prizes donated by our generous sponsors so stop by the raffle booth. 1 ticket for $2. 3 tickets for $5. 
 
Please remember that you don’t have to make a donation. Simply joining us at the walk helps to support our local suicide prevention efforts! You can always contribute to the prevention efforts by clicking on the Donate Now! link at the top of this website!
